An excursion into the history of formation and development of this type of tourism shows that river cruises were a know-Soviet tourism in particular novelty in the world market of cruise tourism was the launch­ing cruise «river-sea». It is noted that innovation in the market of cruise tourism today aimed at finding the optimal mechanism for the formation of the tourist experience. Business processes of cruise tourism market should be aimed at finding non-price factors of competitiveness cruise tourism product.
