| Короткий огляд (реферат): | Modern trends in teaching foreign languages require a combination of thorough theoretical training with a practical focus on real communication. That is why the textbook "Communicative Grammar of the English Language: Materials for Independent Study: A Study Guide for Students of the Second Master's Level of Higher Education" was created, taking into account the needs of Master's Degree students specialising in the fields of Philology, Linguistics, and Foreign Language Teaching methods. |
| Опис: | The purpose of the textbook is to develop holistic grammatical competence as a component of the future specialists’ communicative competence. There are included: communicative, interactive, and test tasks in the textbook, which promote analytical thinking, speech activity, and the ability to apply knowledge in various language situations. Considerable attention is paid to the contextual use of grammatical forms, which allows students not only to learn the rules but also to understand their functioning in living language. There could be found translation exercises, communicative tasks in the textbook, which are aimed at working out grammatical tenses and constructions, interactive tasks, grammatical tests, as well as tasks for analysing sentences. Due to the given structure, it is possible to ensure a gradual complication of the material and contribute to a deeper understanding of the grammatical phenomena. |
