| Короткий огляд (реферат): | Стаття присвячена висвітленню творчості відомого українського композитора Володимира Губи (1938–2020) стосовно розкриття його багатожанрової органної спадщини. На основі музично-естетичного аналізу органного циклу “Профілі часу” осмислюється роль музики для органу у творчості митця, а також значення спадщини композитора у розвитку органного мистецтва в Україні. Сім хоральних композицій цього меморіального органного циклу В. Губи демонструють широту трактування композитором органних світових традицій у поєднанні з національним музичним матеріалом. |
| Опис: | The article is dedicated to highlighting the work of the famous Ukrainian composer Volodymyr Huba (1938– 2020), especially his multi-genre organ heritage, to understand the role of organ music in the artist’s work, as well as the importance of the composer’s heritage in the development of organ art in Ukraine. Volodymyr Huba is a bright representative of the Ukrainian resistance movement of the second half of the 20th century, the generation of the national intelligentsia in Ukraine, known as the “sixties”. The composer chose the organ as a powerful instrumental means of embodying in music epico-dramatic, tragic and lyrical-epic images in original organ works, ensemble works, as well as in music for feature films and documentaries, combining the sound of the organ with timbres of Ukrainian folk instruments. The seven choral compositions “Time Profiles” were created in the 1980s; this is the memorial organ cycle of V. Huba with dedications to prominent representatives of Ukrainian culture from the 18th to the 20th centuries. (Baroque architect Ivan Barsky, historian and ethnographer Mykola Markevich, poet Oleksandr Kozlovskiy, playwright Mykhailo Starytskiy, philologist and folklorist Pavel Zhytetskiy, philosopher, poet and composer Hryhoriy Skovoroda, poet Pavlo Tychyna) vividly portrays the artistic profiles of a certain era with the sound means and timbral richness of the organ. These organ compositions by V. Huba are quite elaborate and are perceived as a cycle of laudatory and solemn spiritual songs. An important feature of these seven choral compositions is their concert character and “organism”. The musical and aesthetic analysis of the organ cycle “Profiles of Time” demonstrates the breadth of the composer’s interpretation of world organ traditions in combination with national musical material. |
