Церковно-релігійне життя села Літиня на Дрогобиччині у XVI - XVIII ст

Abstract

Church and religious life of the villagers in Litynia in Drohobych district in the early modern period of history are analyzed in this article. The author reveals the following aspects of this question: the church, the parish, religious rites, brotherhood. written sources about the church in the village and its architectural features, availability of ritual objects (based on visitation in 1780) are characterized in this work. History of the parish Litynia, isolating from it the parish in the nearby village Tyniv reconstructed in this article. Facts religious and ceremonial life of parishioners village Litynia (worship on Sundays and holidays, weddings, christenings, funerals, administer sacra­ments) investigated the author of this article. The author assumes that the village had a church brotherhood, but says the lack of sources on this question.
